The colour of the wine is heritage red with autumn red hues. A sweet spicy perfumed nose is redolent of cherries, raspberries, red currant and violet leaves, with subtle oak underneath. The palate makes a flavoursome first impression opening with strawberry characters, then revealing morello cherry, blackcurrant, fruit pastille and spicy flavours. The wine finishes with soft tannins, gentle oak, lingering acidity and a residual strawberry aftertaste.
